Chery A5 ISG Sedan The Chery A5 ISG is China's first home-grown, mass-produced hybrid car. The Chery A5 ISG hybrid sedan uses an inline 4-cylinder 1.3-liter ACTECO engine combined with an integrated starter-generator system. Going against many expectations, Chery has designed the A5 ISG as a full-hybrid instead of a mild hybrid. The standard Chery A5 is one of the most popular cars in China, so Chery is betting that the A5 ISG hybrid will also do well.
